Директор Центра, доктор сельскохозяйственных наук, профессор Сергей Гаркуша заслушал итоги стратегической бизнес-миссии российских регионов в Египет, которая прошла в конце августа текущего года. Организатором миссии, в которой приняли участие руководители ведущих вузов, научных центров и экспортно-ориентированных предприятий России, выступил региональный Фонд развития.
Илья Шакалов, генеральный директор Фонда развития Краснодарского края, депутат Красноармейского района:«Вместе с коллегами представил руководству Федерального научного центра риса итоги рабочей поездки, а также передал памятный подарок и приглашение посетить Египет с рабочим визитом от президента Центра сельскохозяйственных исследований Минсельхоза Египта доктора Мохамеда Сулеймана. Египтяне выразили крайнюю заинтересованность в сотрудничестве и взаимодействии в научно-образовательной и инновационной агро сферах, обмена лучшими практиками».
Сергей Гаркуша поддержал инициативу укрепления отношений с Египтом в сфере продовольственной безопасности. Системная взаимовыгодная работа по выведению новых сортов и гибридов, а также выращивание и селекция растений, особенно в сложных природно-климатических африканских условиях крайне важна. Федеральный научный центр риса имеет огромный опыт и высокие компетенции в этой сфере. В ближайшее время будут подготовлены предложения с российской стороны для перспективного сотрудничества с египетскими коллегами.
A meeting on strengthening cooperation with Egypt was held at the Federal Rice Research Center on the initiative of the Krasnodar Territory Development Fund. 🇷🇺🇪🇬
Director of the Center, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Sergey Garkusha heard the results of the strategic business mission of the Russian regions to Egypt, which took place at the end of August this year. The Regional Development Fund was the organizer of the mission, which was attended by the heads of leading universities, research centers and export-oriented enterprises of Russia.

The Egyptians expressed extreme interest in cooperation and interaction in scientific, educational and innovative agro-spheres, exchange of best practices."
Sergey Garkusha supported the initiative to strengthen relations with Egypt in the field of food security. Systematic mutually beneficial work on the breeding of new varieties and hybrids, as well as the cultivation and breeding of plants, especially in difficult climatic conditions in Africa is extremely important. The Federal Rice Research Center has extensive experience and high competencies in this field. In the near future, proposals will be prepared from the Russian side for promising cooperation with Egyptian colleagues.
